A new dimension to high speed mailing

The New WrapStar™ series of paper wrapping machines from Pitney Bowes brings a new dimension to high speed mailing systems – no envelope!

The WrapStar™ can process conventional mail but in place of a traditional envelope it creates a paper cover from a continuous roll. This technology allows a fully personalised mail piece to be produced including a full colour outer with options to add one-to-one messaging, addresses and postal indicia. In fact the choices are endless. The continuous flow process means that high speed, uninterrupted production is now a reality – and there is no need to change envelope stock.

The benefits of the paper wrapping process are not compromised by material handling capability. The WrapStar™ features a wide range of industry proven feeder designs to allow a wide variety of inserts to be added - options include:

• Rotary
• Friction
• Shuttle
• Pick & Place

Two models are available in the WrapStar™ range:

• WrapStar™ 20 Capable of running at up to 20,000 cycles per hour
• WrapStar™ 30 Capable of running at up to 30,000 cycles per hour

Each machine shares the following technical specification

• Max Format 250mm x 330mm
• Min Format 80mm x 100mm
• Max Thickness 20mm
• Paper Weight 70gsm – 250gsm

The WrapStar™ enables you to produce highly personalised mail faster and in more vibrant colours than previously possible. All this is possible whilst optimising postal discounts by producing mixed mail runs and avoiding the need to stock envelopes.
